Today I paused while cleaning out my office and skimmed through some old journals. I found this jewel of a quote from January 8, 1998. I was home from Harding on break, and had apparently been over at the Lyons’ house hanging out with Banks. His dad, one of my favorite sages, utterred this grateful commentary. I can still remember it.
“Isn’t it great that food comes in so many colors? God could just give us plain food, but he gives us colored food instead.” -Dale Lyons
Reading that really made me miss Dale today. I’m getting kind of sentimental now. So many laughs to remember. So much love.
